Paulo Rocha, founder and designer of MRP Smart Solutions and an intense actor in the global industrial market since 1973, a passionate about its IT since 1993, he confirms and diagnoses in 1998 the great problem that still occurring in the operations of the Make-to-Order Industries and that he had lived for years, in his solid experience: the impossibility of minimally performing a good management, due to the very low Degree of Computerization of these Industries, whose cause was (and still is) the inexistence of Management Systems adequate to their operations.
Motivated to solve this problem and after the first research, he starts what was the basis of the current MR-Premium Project, and creates an innovative concept, which guided the construction of a prototype of a System for Manufacturing Management, it having until 2002 validated it successfully, in non-commercial experiments, in more than 10 industries of the make-to-order manufacturing sector.
From 2003, having chosen to work at São José dos Campos in the leadership of a major internationalization project of Brazilian Make-to-Order Production Industries (natural suppliers of the Production Lines Industries), Paulo Rocha interrupts the direct development activities of the project, however he remains active with the researchs, experimentation and benchmarkings inherent to it, now also in international settings and involving several other technologies of the target sector Manufacturing operations, as well as maintaining close and in-depth follow-up with the global IT creations of the management systems for the Industry (corporate or dedicated), proving all time that the problem was worsened, and that these creations were always being guided and technically sponsored by the large Production Lines Industries.
Motivated by the existence of the problem and having the awareness and knowledge to solve it, in 2016 Paulo Rocha begins to structure a lean team and with solid competences in the areas involved, and based on all the researches, experiments, validations and developments already made, he idealizes the MRP Smart Solutions, with its first Enterprise, the MR-Premium Project.
So since 1998, Paulo Rocha has confirmed that the Information Technology oriented to industry has been continuously evolving and has a high quality of its state of the art, but only in the large Industries that operate on demand and Production Lines, in the case of Manufacturing, only for the big assemplies industries, those that participate in the advent of Industry 4.0!
However, contrary to this important evolution, the IT available to Make-to-Order production Industries has remained in the same state of the art of the last century, imposing on these Industries that they still have to operate with a very low Degree of Computerization, causing them to be precarious, due to the lack of systems that are really suitable for their operations.
Then, in early 2017, Paulo Rocha started the activities of MRP Smart Solutions, proceeding with the MR-Premium Project, in order to plan, build and market innovative and unprecedented systems as true solutions, as they will possess all the technical and strategic adaptations that Make-to-Order Industries lack and to which they are tractioned.
